Pet Adoptions

Adoptions and pre-adoptions must be processed in person during shelter operation hours. Visit the Pet Resource Center Shelter during shelter operation hours of Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Please note: Effective July 1, 2021, Florida Statutes, as amended by Senate Bill 60, require a name and address to be provided in order to process this type of request.

Wildlife on Private Property

Hillsborough County does not remove wildlife from private property, including wild hogs. For more information about wildlife, please visit the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission site.

Can't Find Your Service Request?

Customers need to be logged into an account when submitting new service requests in order to track the status of their open requests. If you previously submitted a service request without being logged into an account, please feel free to call (813) 272-5900 for assistance or a status update.
